We tested Thieves Cleaner, Thieves essential oil blend, and Oregano essential oil against Mrs. Meyers, Method, Lysol, 7th Generation, and Clorox cleaners. 

 

The end result?? 

 

Oregano, Thieves, and Thieves Cleaner beat the others by far.

 

To get our bacterial samples, we swabbed the bottom of a child’s shoe, and added the bacteria onto petri dishes. We then added about 3 drops of each cleaner or essential oil to each dish, taped them closed, and waited 4-5 days for the bacteria to grow. 

 

The results speak for themselves, but Young Living by far outperformed the conventional cleaners!
